WHAT WE DO
Culture Shift + Strategic Communications
The Strategic Communications team is responsible for propagating the work, mission, and values of NBEC to varying audiences and constituents, including media outlets, philanthropic orgs, birthing people, and their communities.
Our Strategic Communications team develops and leads all communications, social, digital media, etc., and produces events, programming and media outreach strategies on behalf of NBEC in order to shift the culture of the Black Maternal and child health space; amplifying the voices of those most disenfranchised—Black women and Black birthing people—through storytelling, branding, and marketing strategy in all media formats.
We speak truth to power, shift culture, and lift up Black women and pregnant people, their babies, and their villages through our communications efforts.
