Why Work For NBEC?

The National Birth Equity Collaborative (NBEC) is an organization dedicated to undoing the harms of traditional workplaces and cultivating a nurturing, decolonized environment where Black and Brown women are able to thrive in the important work of fighting for Black and Brown women and birthing people. Here, we are working daily to create global solutions that optimize Black maternal, infant, sexual, and reproductive wellbeing. At NBEC, we wish to model the change we wish to see—consistently building a liberated (internal) structure and operationalizing justice and equanimity within a collaborative framework that aligns with NBEC’s core values.
